The Hand Basket
No question there is regular cause for alarm when it comes to events on the world stage, not to mention events here at home. Frankly, the steady stream of negative news makes it seem our world leaders are taking humanity over the falls in a hand basket.
When I think about the tenuousness of our hold on the markets, politics, security and the like, for some reason Winston Churchill comes to mind, especially with regard to his steadfastness in the face of imminent war. His is the kind of character needed when all bets are off.
His great quote, "Success is not final and failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts", should serve as a beacon for the times we live in. Our vision for success deserves our unwavering support and our commitment to resolve issues we are facing is as important to maintain today as it was then.
Take a page from Churchill, and call on your courage at will. May it be your strength and bring forth wisdom, whatever your journey.
